Először is kezdjük a családtagokkal:

A ‘procrastination’ (főnév) jelentése halogatás, késlekedés.

Az ige formája a ‘to procrastinate’, azaz halogatni, késlekedni.

Procrastination is so hard to quit.”

“A halogatásról annyira nehéz leszokni.”

“You should procrastinate on purpose.”

“Célszerűen kellene halogatnod (a dolgokat).”

“She is a procrastinator and a very lazy individual.”

A ‘to procrastinate’ köznyelviesebb változata a ‘to put off’ kifejezés.

“They put off having a wedding.”

“Halogatják, hogy összeházasodjanak.”

“Never put off till to-morrow what you can do the day after to-morrow just as well.” — Mark Twain.
